Tragic Plane Crash in California Claims Two Lives, Injures Eighteen

A devastating plane crash unfolded in Fullerton, California, on Thursday when a small aircraft collided with a commercial building, resulting in at least two fatalities and leaving eighteen others injured. The incident occurred shortly after the plane took off from the Fullerton Municipal Airport, situated just six miles from Disneyland. Authorities report that the aircraft, a single-engine Vans RV-10 model, was airborne for less than two minutes before the crash.




The building struck by the plane is primarily used for furniture manufacturing. Security camera footage from the area captured the plane tilting sharply to one side before it crashed into the structure. An explosive fireball erupted upon impact, sending thick black smoke billowing into the air. Emergency crews, including firefighters and police officers, rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames and evacuate people from the building.


While the identities of the two deceased victims have not yet been confirmed, authorities are investigating whether they were inside the building at the time of the crash or on board the plane. The injured have been taken to local hospitals, where their conditions are being assessed.
