Syria’s Foreign Minister Arrives in Saudi Arabia for Key Talks on Regional Stability

Syria's Foreign Minister, Faisal Mekdad, has arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend an important ministerial meeting aimed at addressing the ongoing challenges in Syria and ensuring broader regional stability. The meeting, scheduled for Sunday, January 12, 2025, will bring together top diplomats from a range of countries, including Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and representatives from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).



Upon his arrival, Mekdad was warmly received by Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister, Walid Al-Khreeji, as confirmed by official reports from Saudi state media.
